Project Twistlock – Tiny House
Sustainable living in a small space. User-oriented planning and production of a Tiny house.
About the project
Sustainable, decentralized, resource-saving and modular: The project Twistlock is a Tiny house on two floors in a 20 feet container. The client Bavendamm Aqua-Development was looking for a scalable concept for a contemporary Tiny house. This and other Tiny houses will be rented out.
Design Process
It was essential to understand the users and tenants.
Who rents?
How often do they rent?
How long do they rent for?
What are the wishes of tenants, how do they define comfort and vacation?
In a planning phase -1, these questions were answered together with tennants and the client Bavendamm Aqua Development. Based on the generated insights, a concept was then developed that was tailored to the client's and therefore tennants needs.
